SNOW DAY(S)!!!!!

I know I haven't posted in forever, but I thought this was worthy.  The first two days of class have been cancelled due to "inclement weather".  So far, the spring semester is off to a great (but very cold) start!  I like it!!!!! 

*Edit* Classes were cancelled today until 11!  hehe :)

It's been about a month since I've posted but I figured I would rather fill y'all in than go do homework.  So here goes!

I just got back from Dallas.  I had an awesome weekend in Rockwall with some of my favorite people!  We stayed at my friend Will's (also Ashley's boyfriend) and it was so much fun!!  We went to the fair on Friday and ate way too much food- I had a Fletcher's corny dog (amazazing!!) and a caramel apple (yummo)!!  We went to Rockwall's homecoming that night (go yellowjackets!) and then went and saw Employee of the Month (really funny).  Saturday was gameday!!!!!!!  We didn't get to go to the game but it was really nice just to relax all day and watch the game on the big screen with all my friends.  And we won!!!!  Will's step-dad grilled steaks for us and they were fabulous and then we hit the hot-tub.  We also enjoyed two wonderful lunches at Chicken Express and Taco Bueno (both of which cannot be found here in Austin).  So now I'm back in Austin and while I loooove it, I'm not quiiite ready to go back to school.  But then again, am I ever?

This year has been amazing but it has really flown by.  Can y'all believe it's October??  For those of you who haven't heard yet, I joined a sorority at the beginning of the year.  I am having so much fun with a bunch of wonderful girls and I will be initiated into Kappa Delta on October 20th!!  I'm still loving the BSM- Ashley and I lead a Bible study for freshman girls on Monday nights and it's lots of fun, and I'm going through a great study with Courtney called A Life of Influence.  Football has been great too (minus one week, but we won't go there)!!  I'm missing my parents- I've never gone this long without seeing them (since August 20th!!) but Mom is coming for initiation in 2 weeks and then both of them are coming the first weekend in November for my birthday! :)

It has been a super super busy year but that's how I like it!  God continues to bless me each and every day and I could not be happier with where I am in life.  Please let me know how things are going with you.  Even though I don't update often, I check in everyday to see what y'all have posted.  Miss y'all!!!

I'm here!!  My parents just left.  It was kinda sad.  I'm all by myself.  But Ashley will be here later and Megan and Becca are on their way!!

I love our apartment.  Except for the fact that I can't get any reception in here.  I have to go outside to talk on the phone! :(  So if you try to call and I don't answer, just wait a few minutes and I will probably call you back. :)

Hmm...what else?  I guess that's it.  I never have too much to say on here anymore. 

I will be back on Wednesday so I can see some of you for the last time this summer! :(

I've been told to update...

Not much going on, really.

I've been staying busy with work...it's a lot of fun but I'm not too fond of being the P.E. teacher.  Yeah the P.E. guy  worked for one week and then went on vacation for two weeks and then decided when he got back that he didn't really want to work.  So I get to do it for the rest of the summer.  I hate it.  But it's work and I'm making money.

Had a really good but too short visit to Austin a couple of weeks ago.  Lots of fun and I got to stay with Courtney and Amy! :)

Then Daniel, Brittany, Will and Tyler came to visit for the weekend.  We had sooo much fun!!  We had several 4-wheeler adventures, some fishin', skeet shootin', a bad but cheap movie, s'mores, and celebrating Ashley's birthday!!!

Umm...what else?  That's about it.

Ashley and I move back to Austin on August 1!!!!  I am so excited!  A little less than a month here, though, so call me if you want to hang out!  I still haven't seen some of you!

And my update is complete.

P.S.  New Dixie Chicks c.d.= AMAZING!!!!!  Rascal Flatts is reallllly good too. :)
